What data we ask for

When you submit the request form we ask for your full name, phone number and the type of request. Optionally you can give us your email, a message, the best time to reach you and your preferred language. If the request starts from a vehicle page, that vehicle is included. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details or card information.

How we use it

Only to respond to your request: to call or write to you about the vehicle, test drive, video or search you asked for. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How it is sent and protected

The form sends your details over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server, which forwards them by email to Auto Marín through an email delivery provider. We use spam protection and request limits. Email service keys are stored outside the public code.

Providers involved

Hostinger (website hosting and delivery of the email with your request) and the email service where Auto Marín receives the message (Gmail). We also load Google Maps and Google Fonts, so Google may receive technical data such as your IP address. Links to Facebook, TikTok and Google open third-party sites with their own policies.

Whether we store data and for how long

The site does not keep a customer database. Your request remains in Auto Marín’s email and in the email provider’s delivery logs, according to that provider’s policies. To limit spam we keep an anonymous hash of the connection for at most 48 hours. We keep your request only as long as needed to handle it and to keep a reasonable business record.

Cookies and analytics

By default this site does not use its own tracking cookies or analytics. If Auto Marín enables Google Analytics 4, a notice will let you accept or decline: nothing loads without your acceptance. Analytics records only visits, phone clicks and the request type and vehicle asked about; never your name, phone, email or message. We will update this notice before enabling it.

Consents

Submitting the form means you agree that we respond to your inquiry. It does NOT sign you up for marketing communications. If we later offer reminders, maintenance tips or offers by text or email, we will ask separately with an unchecked box, and you can opt out anytime.

Your rights

If you live in California you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so. Call (415) 898-3306 or write to the address above.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
